About us
Our small animal practice on the beautiful mid north coast of NSW is looking for a full or part-time veterinarian to join our incredibly caring practice with a great, supportive team.
Located an easy drive north of Sydney, Taree is surrounded by beautiful ocean and rivers, white sandy beaches, surf breaks, sailing, fishing and diving as well as bush trials for walking, cycling or horse riding. The region has an active sporting culture including rugby league and union, squash, tennis, netball, soccer, cricket, golf and yes, even pickleball.
Established for over 30 years, Golf Course Veterinary Hospital has built a wonderful reputation in the community for providing high level patient care.
Our hospital is very personal. We have good clientele and are selective (as life is too short to deal with some people). Our small size enables a set roster which allows clientele to select whom they wish to see and fosters a strong, trusting relationship. We have a very experienced supportive team. We are seeking a long term candidate.
We promote calm, low-stress handling methods including options of pre-visit medications, meaning safer, happier consults for all involved.
Our clinic culture is laid-back and progressive, with professional development and work–life balance being genuine priorities.

Requirements
Registered with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW
A passion for low-stress handling, or keen to learn it
A calm, clear communicator with clients and the team.
